About

The Franklin Special School District is proud to be a contributing factor to Franklin's superior quality of life by continuing a century old tradition of excellence in teaching and learning for all. Our pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade structure provides the structure to foster student individuality and to implement innovative and exciting educational opportunities as part of a robust and rigorous curriculum. The mission of the Franklin Special School District is to foster academic, social, emotional, physical, and creative development in each student; to instill a desire to continue learning; to nurture respect for all people; and to promote responsible citizenship. Students progress from our two middle schools into Williamson County Schools, where they are prepared for continued success in high school and beyond.
