Join Brentwood United Methodist Church United Women in Faith for the 16th Annual Songwriters Night! Friday, March 6 from 7-9pm in the BUMC, Tabernacle, 309 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027
Proceeds benefit Mercy Community Healthcare. Featured singer/songwriters are Lance Carpenter, Lucas Hoge, and JD “Jeff” Woods: Lance Carpenter moved to Nashville in 2011, where he landed a publishing deal and two major cuts in just 18 months. He co-wrote Kelsea Ballerini's first #1 hit, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” and released his own debut single “Anyone Else” with then label mate Krystal Keith in 2018 after signing a record deal with country superstar Toby Keith. Lance has shared the stage with Toby Keith and Luke Bryan, and his songs have been recorded by artists like Kelsea Ballerini, Emerson Drive, The Gatlin Brothers, Dylan Scott, Tyler Farr, Richie McDonald, and Ben Fuller. Lucas Hoge is a No. 1 Billboard-charting artist and televistion host on hit Sportsman Channel, Heartland Network, and American Country Network show Hoge Wild, finding himself in over 155 million households annually.
A tireless humanitarian, Hoge loves animals and is a passionate supporter of the U.S. military, performing for troops throughout the Middle East and beyond for more than 13 years as a part of the Wrangler National Patriot Tour. JD "Jeff" Wood became a songwriter at nine years old, influenced by legends such as The Eagles, Hall and Oates and Stevie Wonder.
