Position Summary
The Operations & Programs Administrator is a dynamic, detail-oriented team member responsible for the seamless coordination of programs, events, marketing, and administrative functions. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role supports the organization’s day-to-day operations and works closely with board members, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners.
This personable and professional individual plays a key role in delivering high-quality public events, fostering meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, maintaining efficient internal systems, and actively enhancing Franklin Tomorrow’s presence and reputation within the community.

Key Responsibilities
Event & Programs Coordination
  • Plan and coordinate logistics for recurring and special events, including venue booking, AV needs, catering, check-in, and post-event evaluation.
  • Manage event registration platforms and promotional communications (invitations, social media, email campaigns, etc.).
  • Collaborate with volunteer committees, speakers, sponsors, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Oversee sponsor onboarding and deliverables, including logo recognition, signage, and post-event acknowledgments.
  • Support the CEO in identifying opportunities for new programs and community engagement efforts.
Marketing & Outreach
  • Create and schedule engaging social media content across platforms, e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, to promote events and initiatives.
  • Design flyers, graphics, and other digital/print collateral using Canva and other software programs.
  • Draft and distribute e-newsletters and event promotions using an email marketing platform (e.g., Eventbrite and EMMA).
  • Help maintain and update website content.
  • Ensure branding consistency across materials, presentations, and public-facing content.
  • Track and analyze engagement metrics to help inform communication strategies.
Operations & Administration
  • Maintain organizational calendars, documentation, and office inventory
  • Prepare agenda, meeting minutes, communications, and materials for Board and committee meetings
  • Coordinate and maintain financial tracking, budgeting support, and reporting in support of the CEO, Treasurer, and external bookkeeping support.
  • Maintain donor management system and support donor acknowledgments and reporting.
  • Provide general administrative support and perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong background in event coordination, communications, and nonprofit operations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, Google Workspace, Zoom, and WordPress, with experience using Canva and various email marketing tools.
  • Familiarity with donor management systems (e.g., Kindful) and basic financial processes such as online payments and reporting through Stripe.
  • Knowledge and involvement of Franklin and Williamson County is a plus.

Working Environment & Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time during events.
  • Reliable transportation required.
  • This is a full-time, in-office role based in downtown Franklin, TN.
  • Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Franklin Tomorrow offers a collaborative downtown office environment, business casual dress, and free nearby parking.
