About One Generation Away
One Generation Away is celebrating 10 years since its establishment as a nonprofit in 2013. We have grown from sharing 150,000 meals with our community in our first full year (2014) to sharing over 3 MILLION in 2022. We have grown from holding 5 Mobile Pantry events in 2014 to 36 in 2022 in Middle Tennessee and 57 throughout our three-state service area. This has only been possible because of the incredible generosity and dedication of our Middle Tennessee supporters — primarily in our home base of Williamson County. We are so honored by the time, money, energy, and resources this community has poured into our work of fighting food insecurity, and we can’t wait to see how we grow together in the next 10 years!
Our vision is to wipe hunger off the face of America, which is a lofty goal that cannot be achieved without many, many people coming together to support their local communities. If your business, civic group, or even your family would like to find a way to fight hunger in your area, we’d love to get creative and find ways to work together!
