Policy Talks: A Conversation with Stuart McWhorter

Join Williamson, Inc. for a special edition of Policy Talks featuring Stuart C. McWhorter, Tennessee’s Commissioner of Economic and Community Development.

This free community event will feature a fireside chat exploring the economic future of Tennessee and Williamson County. Commissioner McWhorter will join Williamson, Inc. leadership for a candid discussion on the state's economic development strategy, the factors driving Tennessee’s continued success, and how communities like Williamson County play a role in that vision.

Attendees will gain insight into the leadership, partnerships, and priorities shaping economic opportunity across the state, while learning more about local efforts to support business investment, job creation, workforce development, and long-term prosperity. The conversation will also examine the evolving relationship between state and local leaders as they work together to strengthen Tennessee’s competitiveness and quality of life.

Whether you're a business leader, entrepreneur, elected official, or engaged community member, this Policy Talks session offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from one of Tennessee’s top economic development leaders and gain a deeper understanding of the issues and opportunities shaping our region's future.
