About The Carousel of Dreams by Ken Means, operated by the Circle of Giving:
With less than 200 carousels in the United States, we are bringing back a lost art – having one man carve an entire menagerie for a carousel – including the band organ. It is not lost that the Factory at Franklin as a restoration of an old factory is preservation at its finest. To be able to lean into the nostalgia of adding a carousel, it only deepens the overall impression of our campus. For our artist, Ken Means, this is a life-long dream realized. For the Factory it is an incredible asset for our campus for residents and tourists alike to enjoy. For the Circle of Giving, it will literally fund our capacity to give back to the Williamson County community specifically through our net proceeds. This year our beneficiaries are: Franktown Open Hearts, The N.O.O.K., Hard Bargain Association and Friends of Franklin Parks’ inclusive playground, Ellie G’s Dreamworld.
