About Barefoot Republic Counseling
Barefoot Counseling was created to provide hope and healing to our campers, parents, staff, volunteers, and everyone else who is struggling with issues that require professional counseling. Similar to our camps, we provide scholarships to those individuals who cannot afford to see a licensed therapist.
No child is ever turned away for financial reasons.
62% of our campers received scholarships in 2023.
In 2024 we will host 2750 campers and award $650,000 in scholarships.
We have awarded over $4.5M in scholarships since our founding 24 years ago.
Our campers represent over 90 countries of origin, mainly from the Middle TN area.
In 2023 we hosted over 80 outside groups at our camp welcoming 6000 guests.
We will welcome our 25,000th camper this summer.
Barefoot kids come from all walks of life and come together to connect over their common interest in athletic or artistic activities, and then build lifelong Christ-centered relationships that may have never existed if it wasn't for a Barefoot Camp.
